The RTST Sir Peter Hall Director Award 2019 Entry Form

This Entry Form should be read in conjunction with the Rules and Information for Candidates for the RTST Sir Peter Hall Director Award 2019 on the RTST website.

Please upload your curriculum vitae and submit it with this Entry Form.

Where any box in this Entry Form specifies a “maximum” word count, it does not mean that you must write that many words: it is permissive, not mandatory. Sections marked with an * are compulsory.

How will I know my application has been submitted? You will see a summary of your application confirming that it has been submitted successfully and you will also receive an email confirmation. If a section of this Entry Form is not completed correctly, the form will not be submitted and an error message will appear at the top of this page.

The deadline for receipt of this Entry Form is 6pm on Monday, 1 July 2019.

We strongly advise you to not wait until the final 1 or 2 hours prior to the deadline to submit your application because you might experience technical problems making your submission during this time; the RTST accepts no responsibility for any failed submission of an application.

Please confirm the following:

“Professional theatre production” for these purposes includes (amongst other types of production), fringe productions; however, the term excludes any production on which you worked as a student and/or in an educational context.

As stipulated in the Rules, if you have originated and directed a production in a theatre with more than 250 seats but you consider that you are eligible to enter for the Award, please tick the box and specify why you are eligible in the 'supplementary information' section of this Entry Form.

Part 1: Your Concept

To help you complete this section you can use the theatre plans and specifications. You are requested, however, not to contact Curve’s Technical Team in connection with your entry.

You may, if you wish, upload any supplementary information if it is necessary for the purpose of conveying your concept for directing your chosen play and/or if it is necessary for you to explain why you are eligible to enter for the Award.  Any supplementary information should be concise and to-the-point.

Part 3: Monitoring

The following questions are for monitoring purposes only and the information you supply is not part of your application. The information will be stored confidentially.

The Equality Act 2010 generally defines a disabled person as someone who has a mental or physical impairment that has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on the person’s ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities.

Please note: If an individual has a condition which fits the Equality Act definition, they should tick 'Yes' to this question even if they do not feel in any way limited by that condition.

This is an anti-spam question.

Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.

By submitting this Entry Form, your CV and any supplementary information, you confirm that you allow the RTST, its advisers, its Selection Panel, Curve, Rose Theatre Kingston and English Touring Theatre to use your personal data for considering your candidature for the RTST Sir Peter Hall Director Award 2019.
