You are requested, however, not to contact Curve’s Technical Team in connection with your entry. Please specify the title of your chosen play, together with the name of the playwright; or, in the case of a novel, the author; or, in the case of a film, the scriptwriter. If the subject work was not originally written in the English language, please specify the language in which it was originally written and the particular English translation on which your entry is based, providing details of the translator and any other identifying facts. * If you are proposing an adaptation, please name the living writer who you would ideally want to adapt your chosen play (not in English), novel or film, and please give reasons for your choice. (Maximum 500 words) * Please name your ideal cast members, and please give your reasons. You do not have to specify every single cast member, but you should name at least one of the actors. (Maximum 300 words) * Please name your ideal creative team colleagues, and please give your reasons. You do not have to specify every single individual – e.g., you might want to name the set and/or sound and/or lighting and/or costume designer. (Maximum 300 words) * Please write a letter to (jointly) the Artistic Director of Curve, the Executive Producer of Rose Theatre Kingston and the Executive Producer of ETT explaining (i) your vision for your choice of play (ii) why your choice of play is suitable for Curve and for a UK tour and, if applicable, (iii) how you would like the writer to approach the adaptation.
